- Emerald™ Eco Facial Tissue is Biodegradable and made from Bagasse and is bleached by Hydrogen Peroxide. Bagasse is a fibrous residue remaining after sugar cane stalks are crushed to extract their juice. - Emerald™ Eco Hot Cup is Biodegradable and made with paper that is elemental chlorine-free and coated on the
inside with polylactic acid (PLA), which is made from agricultural
crops such as corn and potatoes. They are fully biodegradable and
compostable. There are no animal or petrochemical ingredients in the
cups. For use with hot liquids. Compostable in a
commercial composting environment. Both the fiber and coating used to
